The taxation of nonresident companies

In an effort to create favourable conditions for attraction of foreign investment to Belarus, the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has signed the Decree ¹ 159 "On some issues of income taxation of foreign companies".

The Decree provides the release of the foreign companies, which do not carry out their activity in Belarus by permanent representation, from payment of tax on incomes, which they gain from granting credits, loans to the Government and residents of the Republic of Belarus under the state guarantee of the Republic of Belarus.
